10/4/15   Atticus is a gentle soul, so sweet and loving.  He loves to be  brushed and have his tummy rubbed.  He walks on a leash like the gentleman he is.  He is a good neighbor and friendly to all he meets...dog or people.  Walking has helped his back legs get stronger  and he sure loves taking several small walks a day. This is keeping with his heartworm treatment.

We've had Atticus for about a month and today was his first bark. This is a very quiet fellow, although he's been known to howl, but not very loudly.  We call it "singing the blues". He is  an easy dog to fall in love with.

9-9-15 Atticus is an exceptionally friendly dog. He is a big boy and has developing lumbo-sacral issues causing him to not be as strong in the hips as he was when younger. He is heartworm positive. 

Everyone who has met this big friendly boy has fallen in love. He is a special dog and deserves a great place to stay for his senior years.
