3/31/2015 Movie-star good looks and a larger-than-life personality – if this is what you’re looking for, then Junior is the dog for you. Junior is an owner surrender who was rescued from a rural North Carolina shelter. He is quiet, walks nicely on a leash, and he loves chewing on his elk antler. He is getting used to suburban living with all the noises and activity. He is moderately food-motivated and seems more interested in people than in other dogs (he mostly ignores my personal dog). He was a very good boy at his vet visit a few days ago and interacted appropriately with the other dogs in the waiting room and with the vet and tech who examined him. Junior is just an all-around nice guy who will thrive in a permanent home that will provide some training and lots of love and interaction. He plans to attend adoption events in Northern Virginia as soon as he is neutered. If you are an approved adopter who is interested in Junior, please feel free to contact your case worker or Junior’s foster mom.
