11-11-14 Sheba has been medically cleared from having a broken pelvis.  However at her young age it is determined that she does have Hip Dysplasia.  At this time this condition is not bothering this young girl but it may affect her in the future and prospective adopters should be considerate.

She is able to run and play however it is discouraged to have her stand on her hind legs (which means playing rough with other dogs), have her jump (such as in the air for a Frisbee) she should be encouraged to not jump in the air for balls but get them after they hit the ground or be a jogging partner for extended length several miles and she should also not be run on hard impact surfaces such as Cement or Asphalt.
Sheba will need to be kept  on a diet at a decent weight for most of her life and all treats will need to be incorporated into her diet.

11-3-14 Sheba is a young energetic lady that has been restricted to a crate due to a previous incident before coming to VGSR.  When coming out of the crate Sheba does have a burst of energy that is controllable and she easily settles down to go potty on a leash and then spends time with the other dogs (3 little and 2 large) on a dog bed lounging the rest of the day or does return to her crate with toys to occupy her.  Sheba will have restricted movement for another couple weeks so she is not allowed to rough house with other dogs or run in the yard.  She is learning basic obedience and does walk fairly well on a leash considering that she is limited exercise and would rather go for a good jog.  Sheba is not recommended for young children as she may knock them over.  She however has lived with children in the past and every person she meets she likes and believes she is meant to go home with.  Sheba is living with a young kitten who thinks big dogs were placed on this planet for kittens to chase their tails and chew, run zoomies around and keep dogies on their toes as he runs up to them and bites them and then is able to run under the furniture and hide or behind a baby gate.  Sheba tolerates the kitten very well and will do well with cats that are very dog orientated but if they run that means they want to play so she will run after them.  There has been times that Sheba has been very vocal when meeting new dogs but other times she just sits back and meets a new dog with proper introductions very nicely.
