Hi Folks!  Even though my official name is Cheney, the name that I respond to is Toby.  I am a big, sweet boy and I get along terrific with all of my canine buddies.  As a matter of fact, the highlight of my day is going to the dog park and wrestling around with all of my friends.  I am fine with big dogs, small dogs and even obnoxious dogs!  I love riding in the car, chewing on toys and I recently mastered the art of catching a ball.  Right now I live with three pushy female dogs and one over-sized goofus of a dog.  I am very friendly to ALL people and really enjoy being petted and loved on.  Everyone at the Reston Dog Park knows me and loves me!

However, I do have some physical issues - if you look at my photos, you can see that my left rear foot is very deformed.  It might slow me down a little, but I still love to run and play.  If I want to run really fast I just run on three legs - no problemo!  Also, I have a funky right elbow and there is something called arthritis in the same shoulder.  As if that was not enough, when they went to neuter me they found out that my kidneys are way too small so I have to eat special food made for dogs with kidney disease.  I know it sounds bad, but I am such a spectacular guy that I am worth the extra money that it costs to feed me the right stuff.  My foster mom promised me that if no one adopts me because all of my physical issues, that she will take care of me for the rest of my life.  I love her, but I really would like to be in a home away from the pushy girl dogs that live here too.
