Meet Drew!  A 2 year old dog that acts like a 6 month old puppy, with lots and lots of puppy energy! Drew loves running around in the backyard with the other house dogs. At first he did play a little rough but the older dogs taught him to calm down and play appropriately. He is a vocal player and loves to find branches/sticks to carry about! He is crate trained and will let you know that he prefers to be with you instead of the crate when you are home! He knows "sit" "down" "out" and is learning wait and stay.  He walks well on leash and LOVES car rides! His favorite treat is a raw carrot and he is a gentle treat taker too. He is crated only when we are out and has escaped the crate once with nothing being disturbed in the house. He sleeps well at night on a dog bed next to his foster dad's side of the bed.

 Drew follows his foster dad everywhere and usually ends up laying down nearby.He likes his foster mom but really loves his foster dad! He is very affectionate and is truly a diamond in the rough! 

Drew needs some help with meeting new people in his home. He has improved since we have had him and is continuing to do so.  He will need an experienced GSD owner who knows how to work with and correct him during inital introductions. Once he is comfortable with new folks (usually a few minutes) he is the perfect gentleman and gives slobbery kisses.

Drew has been tested with Cats and small dogs, and did well with each.

Drew will need a fenced yard, or an adopter with the ability to exercise him daily.  He has a lot of energy and loves to run. He has very good recall and can be quite the goober dog!
