Dixie 3931 is a 5 year old female who recently joined the VGSR pack as a foster.  She has only been with us since Saturday, March 8, and has already settled in quite nicely.  Dixie is well trained; she loves to go for walks with the kids.  She stops at the top of the stairs and waits for everyone to be at the bottom, and will remain there until she is released.  This is great with the kids, no more worries about the dog tripping the kids when they are on the stairs!  She does have a thyroid condition and is on medication.  Dixie is a wonderful girl.  She will be perfect for a family with children.  She has bonded with our children in just the 2 days we have had her.  She will also need a family who is willing to walk and exercise her!
