Bo is a great dog and only wants to be loved and give love in return.  He has had vaccinations for Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella & Heartworm.  Bo is estimated to be around 3 to 4 years old; although he behaves like a younger dog.  Bo weighs about 65 to 70 pounds; and from the  size of his paws we think he has some growing left to do.  He cuddles and kisses with the best of them and even though he doesn’t have a full tail, when he is happy (which is pretty much anytime he is around people or other dogs) his little stub goes from left to right so fast that his whole hind quarters begins to shake.
 
He appears to be house broken and will cry when he needs to go out.  He has never barked since we got him.  Bo loves to ride in the car, go on walks and he is very good with other dogs.  He knows sit as a command but still needs to improve when it comes to his leash manners.  In just the first three days of walking him he has already made great improvements and is beginning to heel pretty well.  When feeding him small milk bones as a reward for good behavior you do need to tell him to be gentle as his instinct to grab at food (this is probably from being a stray for an unknown period of time).
 
While nothing in his medical history from the shelter indicates he has had any surgery he does have a several inch scar on his belly which looks to be surgery related.  We are attempting to get him setup with a VGSR Vet for a checkup and getting him neutered and we will ask about the scar at that time.  He was also recently being treated for ehrlichia and will we ask the vet to ensure he is fully recovered since we don’t know if he completed treatment he was on while at the Shelter.
