Dinah is a young petite german shepherd mix. As of 9/8, she weighs 31 pounds, but she came to us hungry and loves to eat! We're not sure of her history, but the shelter she came from says she's about 5-6 months and was there for a little over a month. She's very excitable, loves other dogs and loves people and is your typical puppy. She's currently living with one dog and two house cats whom she really hasn't payed much attention, but when curious, she's approached them gently.

She's a smart girl and in the little time we've had her she's learned "sit" and "look," is treat motivated and responds well to positive reinforcement - she seems eager to please and she loves when you praise her. We're working on walking nicely on a leash, potty training as well as "down" and "stay." Dinah is a confident girl and will need training. She only whined for a short time in the crate at night and quieted down soon after.

So far she's been quiet in the house and barks when outside when she sees other dogs whom are walking near, excited to meet them. I think she will do well in a home with another dog as well as an only dog, but she will certainly need regular exercise and stimulation.
