Droopy is a big boy that likes people, but is shy and a bit timid at first. He is good with people, all dogs and cats! He is an XL size and  probably his best weight is around 95lbs. He is working on getting in shape. This is a very calm dog who likes to be with his family members and follows them from room to room. He loves to look out the window and go for walks and car rides. Droopy warms up quickly and is wonderful in a home. He is non-destructive and house-broken and does not have to be crated at all. He has a large bark and is protective of his home. Droopy has not reached his full potential as a GSD and his new family will need to work with him with patience and kindness. He will need a fenced yard and will not do well with an e-fence or e-collar. He is a gentle giant and is very well behaved.

This an easy to love and easy to care for dog. His ears are damaged from past constant, chronic infections and the cartilage is scarred. His big ears will never stand up again. His ears do require regular weekly cleaning to prevent him from getting yeast and bacterial infections. It is not difficult to do and he enjoys the care.

The more Droopy gets out in the world and meets people, the better he gets. His gentle eyes reflect his soul. He will be a loving companion for years to come and is just waiting for someone to give him a chance.
