Sugar was an owner surrender.   We are glad to have her.  She is living up to her name.  She is the sweetest and gentlest dog anyone is going to meet.  She came in not being crate nor house trained.  She has mastered both.  Gets along famously with other dogs.  Not bad for growing up in a small kennel.   She is an energetic dog that wants you to be the center of her world.  She is that dog that wants a master that she can bond with forever.  She will give you in return no end of attention, loyalty, affection and fun.    She knows the common commands; come, sit (especially if snacks are a possibility).  She is working on stay and leash etiquette.  She is very food motivated but not at all food aggressive.  Her leash skills are a little lacking.  She is working hard on those.  She is so good off-leash it is hard to get her back to a leash for training.  She loves playing keep way and with just about any toy she can get her mouth around.  She will run and run and run with my dogs.  She is very good out socially with other dogs and strangers.  LOVED the dog park.  She will follow you everywhere to make sure all is well with you.  She does well in a crate.  Leaves the furniture alone but she is learning socks and shirts are not toys.  Prefers to sleep where she can keep an eye on you and be ready for the morning run.   Rides in a car beautifully.    She is ready for that forever home.
