Hi! I am August. My pet family calls me Auggie, Woggie, or Wog-dog. I am a white GSD and very good looking one if I say so myself. My pet mom thinks I am a Diva! I am a little over three years old. I am very obedient, gentle and very affectionate. I love to train with my pet brother - mostly for the treats. I am not kidding - I love treats! I will do anything for them.
I walk well on a leash. I do get curious about the other dogs walking by and might get a teeny bit aggressive with some, but I get corrected quickly. I need a couple of walks each day to get the energy off of me. I am crate trained, but I like to be free around the house. I am well behaved around the house even when I am by myself. The dog in me might get tempted to get the food accidentally left on the table, but I am getting over that now. When you get home after a long day I will greet you with a crazy wagging tail and sniff you as if there is no tomorrow!
I LOVE kids!! My neighborhood has a whole lot of them and my pet brothers have a bunch of friends and I love to play ball with them be it in the yard, on the deck or in the basement. My tails starts to wag if I see a kid a block away. I fetch fine indoors but my pet mom does not trust me to be off the 30 foot leash outside yet as I did run like a bullet through an open door a couple of times
I ride well in a car. I enjoy looking out the window with wind blowing over my face, my tongue and ears flopping. I enjoy endless belly rubs and like to curl up by your feet. I love a good tug-of-war and may let you win a few times just to keep you interested. At times when you cannot give me all the attention, I keep myself busy with running around in circles trying to catch my tail, playing with my soft toys and chewing on a bone. I just cannot stand the vacuum — I think it is too loud and obnoxious. I will find a happy place in a corner till it is done.
My pet mom cannot figure out while I am good with some dogs, why I just cannot stand some! Got to do something with being a female I guess (smile). She thinks I am the best dog there is but with some consistency I will make the bestest dog (smile). Unfortunately she is going through a rough patch in life right now and has to give me away. She wants me to have a loving and caring family. All in all, I am a great dog for anyone.
