Hi, my name is Alfalfa, or Alfie for short. We think I am a Golden/Aussue mix. I am approx 40-50 lbs and 8-9 months old as of 1/09.

I have an awesome personality. I listen very well but I am a very exuberant puppy and can be quite a handful. I love, love, love to play and run around. My favorite thing to do is play fetch. I am so smart that my foster mom didn't even have to teach me to drop the ball first. I also bark a lot when I am playing and chasing other dogs. You have to be ok with playing fetch with me everyday.

I have to have a home with another young and/or energetic dog who will play with me, no exceptions says my foster mom. I would play practically all day all night if I could so I need someone who will keep up with me. I am very well socialized and would be a perfect family dog. We want me to go to a home that has experience with dogs like Goldens. I am also really smart so I need a home with a compassionate but good handler who will have rules for me to follow. I need someone who is comfortable being a leader but still kind.

I chew everything I can get my paws on20right now (its just my age I cant help myself!) so please make sure to puppy proof your house. I also like to be kept cool and love to lay on cold tile or by an a/c vent. I really like cold weather too.

I am neutered, up to date on my shots (3 sets of puppy shots), I was started on heartworm preventative when I was 2 months old and I was dewormed 3 times. I am completely healthy. I am also house broken but I am not crate trained. I will only crate for an hour or two at a time. I am great with everyone. Cats make me a little nervous but I am nice to them. I LOVE other dogs, all dogs. And if you are a human, be prepared to be kissed all over.
