Taza is a big sweet goof. (Taza is Spanish for a child's cup.)
Background - Taza was part of a family for a long time. But the child in the family had a serious medical condition requiring frequent overnight visits to the hospital. And the family could no longer care for Taza. So they brought him to a small local shelter where he was at risk for euthanasia. VGSR then fostered him.
Physical - Taza is quite large but not overweight. His teeth are very clean. And he shows no hip or back issues.
Temperament - Taza is extremely sweet. No aggressive issues at all either with humans or three other dogs in the house (2 males and 1 female). No barking - though he does cry a bit when he can't get to his human. Taza is a bit of a velcro dog. He is perfectly potty trained and no issues in the house. He has medium energy level enjoying either walks or a back-yard. At the same time, he is happy to hang out when I am working or watching TV. He LOVES belly rubs and is very trusting. He is a bit of a picky eater and prefers soft dog food.
Bottom line - Whoever adopts Taza will be getting a great companion and a worth inclusion to a range of different families including those with other dogs. (I have not seen him with cats but his original family had 4 cats living with Taza.) If interested, please contact:
