This sweet, petite 3ish-year-old German Shepherd weighs around 50lbs and is ready to bring joy to your home. Despite a tough start in life—having been abandoned and living in a shelter in North Carolina where she was at risk of being euthanized—Lola’s spirit remains unbroken. She had blossomed into an incredibly loving and joyful companion and is ready to find her forever home!

Lola adores her people, thrives on human interaction and loves nothing more than being by your side. She’s affectionate, patient, and gentle, especially with her tiny foster humans, making her an ideal family companion. 

This sweet girl is also playful and still has some puppy left in her, particularly when she’s with her foster sister—playtime is one of her favorite activities! But don’t let her playful side fool you—Lola knows how to relax too. She’s just as happy curling up for some quiet time, soaking up all the gentle scratches and attention you can offer.

Lola has shown herself to be an incredibly smart and she’s very eager to please. Whether it’s learning basic commands or exploring new adventures, Lola is always up for the challenge. She especially enjoys going for walks, where she can take in all the wonderful scents of the world around her.
