Beth 7220 came into VGSR after being found as a stray with her puppy (Gatsby 6816). She’s estimated to be around 4.5 years old. It seems that at one time, sweet Beth likely had a home of her own because she quickly settled into her fosters’ home! As you can imagine, Beth is happy to be getting regular meals and is very treat motivated. Beth has never met a stranger and loves humans big and small alike. She does, however, have a tendency to try to herd her foster family’s small children, so she would likely do best in a home with older children. She happily plays with the resident GSD and is very respectful of the small, older dog in the home. Beth is pretty good on leash and her foster family is working with her on basic commands. She is crate trained and generally goes to her “house” with little protest at bedtime and sleeps there all night, though she would much prefer staying with her people at all times. Beth is currently heartworm positive and undergoing treatment. She will also be spayed soon so she can get out of the puppy-making business.
