Meet Hoffi – Your Future Snuggle Buddy!

Hoffi, short for hoffnung which is hope in German,is a stunning 1 year-old German Shepherd with a heart as big as her beautiful ears. Weighing in at around 70 pounds (and still growing!), this sweet girl was rescued just hours before she was set to be euthanized at a shelter in North Carolina. Thanks to some quick action and a life-saving flight to safety, Hoffi is now thriving in her foster home in Orange, Virginia, with VGSR.

From the moment she arrived, Hoffi has proven herself to be an absolute love bug. She adores snuggling up next to her person and will melt into you for affection. Her gentle nature shines through—she takes treats delicately and leans into every scratch and cuddle.

Hoffi is also a playful soul who loves romping around with the other dogs in her foster home. While she does well with canine companions, she prefers slower introductions as she gets to know new friends. After a few rounds of zoomies and playtime, Hoffi is content to curl up indoors and relax. She walks well on a leash and is eager to please—especially if it means more time by your side.

She is currently in heat and will need to be spayed before she’s ready for adoption, but trust us—this girl won’t be available for long. With her sweet spirit, playful energy, and snuggly heart, Hoffi is the total package.
