Blue is outgoing, full of life, and confident with a solid temperament. He is a great companion, always happy and easy going. Blue is very social and friendly around people, kids, and other dogs. Compatibility with cats is unlikely, as he wants to chase small animals, like rabbits, squirrels, and birds. He has exceptional tracking skills but responds (on lead) to leave it and in general, listens well. As Blue is very treat-motivated and smart, he is a fast and motivated student. He is house-trained, and well-behaved and trustworthy in the home. He especially enjoys treats/bones, car rides, walks anywhere/anytime, and playing with toys or a game of fetch. He likes best to be with his person. Like a good shepherd, he is protective and has a big bark, as needed. Blue was surrendered to an overcrowded shelter with his brother, Jack 6815, and both were tagged as urgent, code red rescues through no fault of their own. Both are loyal and devoted, ready for forever homes where they are treated well. Blue is a big love, ready for his best life with someone who knows and loves GSDs!
