Sheba 6780 is a sweet and beautiful, young and spry GSD. She’s maybe 2 years old, healthy as can be, and due to be spayed shortly. She loves people and dogs and has played well with two chihuahuas, an old GSD, an old dachshund mix, a 9-month-old human, a twelve-year-old human, and plenty of adult humans. I’ve taken her to work in the office several days and she’s been great. She greets strangers well, lays down by the desk and naps quietly. She’s potty trained, loves a bone, loves to be petted and scratched, and loves to walk. She’s great in the car, front seat or back. She will sleep in a dog bed, a human bed, on the floor, on the couch, or anywhere else. She has slept in an open crate, but does not like a closed crate or being left alone. Sheba will do best in a home where she will be with either humans or other dogs and not left alone during the day. She loves to run and go on walks, but needs help learning not to pull on the leash. She’s getting better. She’s nice and calm inside and on familiar routes outside, but more excited when exploring new trails or seeing deer and foxes. If you’re already an approved adopter, please contact dougbryant@protonmail.com to meet Sheba. If you’d like to meet Sheba but are not already an approved adopter, please apply at vgsr.org.
