6/8/25 Meet our new Love Bug Elsie. Unfortunately, this is Elsie’s second time through VGSR. Elsie is absolutely stunning. Her personalty is even better.

Elsie is 3yo, and has a lot of energy. She loves playing fetch. She is a dream in the house. We give her free roam of the house which is a must for a new adopter.  Elsie has a tremendous amount of guard drive. So a new adopter needs some GSD experience and needs to realize that she needs a quiet house.

We love the fact that she barks at the UPS man and anyone who knocks on our door. Elsie is a Velcro dog and loves to be with us.

We were told that she can be dog aggressive. We are introducing and working with her and her foster brother. We have definitely made progress but a single dog home would be better.  We also have a cat. She’s very curious of him and does pretty well. She does chase him, which is just natural for a GSD.
