Introducing Chagui, an 8 month old male shepherd.  After some initial shyness he has settled in nicely with our family routine.  He is good with other dogs, has learned to be good with our kitties ( he at times wants to play with them, but calls off easily) is housetrained, crate trained, walks well on a leash, and responds  well to training.  He is somewhat timid meeting new people but quickly warms up when he realizes they mean him no harm.  
 

He is going through his early adolescent awkward stage with long legs, goofy ears, and is somewhat clumsy when running to play. ( think Marmaduke)   He likes his toys and will return a ball when it is thrown, but is not a high drive pup.  He has low/moderate energy level but that may change as he gets more confidence in his surroundings and matures.  He is content to lie down at your feet in whatever room you are in or will gladly take a sofa if it is offered.
 

His ideal family would be one that continues to socialize him to help build confidence in himself  and continue his basic training.
