1/5/23  Dutch is a happy-go-lucky 4 year-old Shepherd. He's a real dog's dog who loves all the things a dog should: going for walk, playing fetch in the backyard, whether with a tennis ball or soccer ball, going on a car ride, snuggling on the couch, napping in his dog bed, and playing with dogs of all sizes. Dutch is a one-eyed guy who was rescued with four other pups, all in pretty rough shape. You'd never know it now though. He's neutered and healthy and loving eating enough food to put on some weight. He likes puzzle toys and especially squeaky toys. He's great with kids and strangers and is curious about anything new. He's a clever boy who loves people and companionship. He'll attach himself to anyone who takes care of him and shows him affection. He does need exercise, whether by daily walks or large yard he can play fetch in and sprint until he's exhausted. He's very good at being energetic outside and relaxed inside, but if he's not exercised, he'll start to show that energetic playfulness inside too. Dutch is a great dog, and one we very seriously considered keeping for ourselves. We probably would keep him if we didn't already have three others.
