Axel is the sweetest dog you'll ever meet. He is a huge goofball and loves his humans. Despite being energetic and warm he's actually quite a couch potato. When we do exercise we love long walks and running with the ball at the dog park. Axel can be picky about his friends and has some leash aggression. He can be stubborn at times but he knows a few tricks and basic commands. Axel is incredibly food motivated and eager to please. Car rides are his favorite as well as just lounging outside. He is a large boy who will require a tall fence and a large backyard. He is incredibly gentle and good with kids. We are working on keeping all four paws on the ground when he's excited. He is a hugger. Once he's calmed down he loves to lean on you and even smiles!
