9/21/21: Nico has settled into his foster home very well. He enjoys his daily trips to foster dad's office where he gets to greet a few people and gets overloaded on treats! Nico loves toys and will entertain himself in the yard with a ball. He get zoomies and loves running circles and likes it even more if you act like you want to chase him! He is a big snuggle bug and doesn't know how big he is when he wants to sit on your lap - he is such an affectionate boy. After a good play session in the backyard he is ready for a nap on the couch. He finds it his personal mission to give everyone in the house kisses each morning. He pays no attention to the neighbor dog next door through the 6ft fence. Nico would prefer to be an only dog but could co-exist with another pup in a home with an experienced adopter. Nico is taking obedience classes and is a superstar! Nico is a special boy who is intelligent, eager to please and will make a fantastic companion for any family! 9/13/21: Nico 3761 is nothing short of a super stud muffin!! He is a "teenager" with a TON of potential. To describe Nico in a nutshell would be great with people and handsome (and he knows it). Nico was found as a stray and spent 3 weeks in a shelter. The staff adored him and said he was a real sweetheart. Nico is a typical energetic youngin' who is extremely intelligent.  Nico knows basic commands such as sit and he knows how to shake - he uses this to his advantage and likes to give out love taps for attention!  Nico hasn't been well socialized with other dogs and does not know how to act or interact. Nico has started obedience/training sessions and the improvement working around other dogs from just the first session is night and day! Nico would not be good in a home with cats and no small children (he's an 80lb typical mouthy, jumpy pup who gets zoomies). Nico has done GREAT with all adults and older children he has met. Nico is a rockstar in his crate and seems to enjoy it. He is completely house-trained. Nico was recently neutered, current on vaccines and no health issues that we know of.
