Striker 3507 is the new kid in town. This handsome fella is 100% pure puppy - he is goofy, lanky and if there's something to get into, he will find it! His favorite activities include playing, running, all toys, chewing, exploring and did I say chewing? Striker is a VERY active youngster that is full of energy and needs an active family. He requires a home that can provide him training and supervision. He enjoys finding hidden treasures (shoes, blankets, any food that's fallen in crevices. He also likes to try to influence the tv selection by stealing the tv remote). He will gladly give up the items he discovers and isn't possessive. Striker is sharp as a tack and learns very quickly. Within a few hours he has learned sit, down and shake. He loves food - all food and is eating his meals from a slow feeder. Striker had a family that loved him very much but unfortunately the older male resident GSD did not like his puppy pestering which lead to Striker being a frequent target.  Striker has been very well cared for and is up to date on vaccines, he is neutered, microchipped and ready to find his forever family. Striker has done well with other dogs he has met but wants to play continuously and doesn't understand cues that other pups send his way. He is the typical shepherd and gives out a big boy bark when seeing people he isn't familiar with but he warms up quickly. Striker would not be suited for a home with cats or small children due to his activity level and his mouthiness. He would likely do fine with older children especially with a family who has experience with the breed. Striker is AKC registered. He will require a home with a 6 foot fenced yard or an active adopter who can burn off his energy. He is house trained and crate trained.
