German Shepherd Dog (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Adult
3/16/21. Magnolia 4666, who responds to Noli (Noli Cannoli is what her foster family has taken to calling her), is an almost 2 year old, high energy German Shepherd who will make a loyal and lovable companion to a lucky family. She has a smaller frame for GSDs, and weighs in at less than 100lbs. She loves being outside, playing fetch, "find it", tug of war, and getting belly rubs. Her perfect day would include all of these with long walkies and extra belly rubs. She is currently working on her leash habits and commands (getting better everyday!). She loves kids, but her foster family is unsure about babies and toddlers (currently around age 6 & 11).
She is scared of cats, but warms up to them with time. Noli can sometimes get along great with dogs, but most times will need a slow introduction and a lot of patience. She is incredibly smart and picks up on things quickly. Her forever family will need to be able to keep up with her mentally and stay firm.
Magnolia is currently intact, with plans to be spayed in the near future. Noli is house trained, crate trained, potty-trained, microchipped, and stays in her bed all night even without a crate. She is currently working with a trainer on following commands and socialization with other dogs.
Magnolia will be perfect in an active family, who have a fenced yard, with older kids who are willing to give her mental stimulation daily.
