Hi, I’m Dixie! I like to start my day waiting for my humans to wake up. Once they are, I smother them with kisses, no such thing as too many. I have puppy energy, so I like to go on runs with my foster mom or play fetch. For the most part I know house etiquette, but when I get curious and I am told “no” I stop immediately…and go give kisses to make up for it. I’ve had two accidents in the house over two and half weeks, so I’m close if not already potty trained. I like to follow you around all day, I must see your every move and provide company. I work hard from home with my foster mom and have learned to calm down and relax during the work day (if I look like I am napping, I’m still alert enough to follow you if you move). I also know sit, shake, and can stay (still in-progress). I would make a great addition to an active family, preferably at a house where I can hang out with a human most of the day.
