German Shepherd Dog (medium coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Adult
Tzar is big boy,(though a little under weight) but very gentle accepting treats and just being around people. He has been happy to meet every family member so far. No jumping, barking or other bad manners. He is good with our 13 yr old male Carin Terrier. Our 4 year old female GSD lets him know his place quickly and he respects her direction mostly. The 11 month female GSD wants him and everybody else to play. I dont think he has much experience playing with other dogs. He can be rough, but is leaning quickly what is acceptable and what is not. He is very eager to please. He whines at the back door to go out and/or bumps the door knob. He is completely house trained. So far he knows some basic commands like no, sit, down, this way to change his direction. stop it. He knows tone of voice well. The longer he is with us the more confident and the more his protective traits come out. He will get loud when something seems out of place to him outside. In the evenings he would like nothing better than to sit in my recliner with me. Not happenings big fella. At the Vets Tzar greeted all the dogs with a sniff, no sign of tension. Update - 2/25/2020 Tzar is becoming more and more confident and protective of our property.
