1/13/2020  Roxy is a very playful and highly energetic 10-month-old puppy. She came to rescue as an owner surrendered due to loss of a family member. She loves to play fetch any time and can often be found entertaining herself by tossing her toys around. She enjoys car ride. She is very friendly with humans and kids of all age. Due to high energy playful temperament I would recommend kids above 10 years. If properly introduced, she enjoys playing with other dogs (mostly big). She is ok with medium dogs, but she does not realize her size while playing, and just needs to be reminded to be gentle. She has no food aggression or resource guarding.

She knows basic commands like, “Sit,” “Down,” “Stay,” “Let’s go,” and, “Here.” She is mostly crate-trained, and house trained. She is a very quick learner; within a few days she learnt door manners and looks at you for your command “Let’s go”. She currently barks and lunges if she sees other dogs outside during walks. However, if you keep her focus and provide positive reinforcement she will settle down. She needs a strong leader with lots of patience to continue to train her and work with her.
