Astrid is a petite pretty little girl who was dumped by her owners at a high kill shelter. The shelter staff said she cried for two days after her owners left her there with an unknown fate. The shelter notified one of our volunteers about Astrid and because she was a surrender she was scheduled for euthanasia. Thankfully VGSR was able to take her in. She has some skin conditions on her tail and back most likely from fleas, but we will be heading to the vet to check it out. She has adjusted pretty well into her foster home and is learning quickly. We have 3 large GSDs and Astrid is not quite sure if she is a fan. So at this time I would suggest she is the only pup in the house.
