Nala is doing very well in her foster home, but would really like to find her furever home!!  She's doing much better about not jumping up on us!  She still gets really excited about going outside, but that's where she gets to play with her ball!!

We've found out she's an awesome snuggler!  Once she's done with play time and in the evenings if we're just hanging out on the couch watching TV, if one of the other dogs hasn't snagged the spot beside us, she'll jump right up and snuggle right up to one of us!

We've also found out that she doesn't do too well in the car on long trips.  Pretty much anything close to an hour and a half or longer and her tummy doesn't like it.  But bless her heart, she doesn't complain about it at all!

Meet Nala 4935!  She was just returned to VGSR through no fault of her own.

Nala is a very high energy girl that must have a fenced yard to run and play in!  She’s learning how to play ball and it’s very cute to watch!  However, once she’s done playing outside, she just wants to hang out where we are having a chew on a bone or a nap nearby.

She is currently living with 2 GSDs, 3 Huskies, and 2 cats.  She pretty much ignores the cats.  She is housebroken, crate trained, walks well on a leash, and does well in the car.  She needs some work on her manners (she jumps up on us and gets overly excited about going out) and we’re working on that.  She does need someone with GSD experience and would not be a good choice for a first-time dog owner, especially a first-time GSD owner.
