7/8/19  Hi. My name is Bourke (as in Dooney & Bourke) and I am a tall and lean fast growing puppy.  We don’t know much about my early months as I was picked up as a stray with 2 of my siblings in DC.  Luckily though we were all in good shape with no problems.  I am now starting to settle into my new foster home.  I am told I am very sweet and affectionate.  I love all the new toys and it is so much fun to sit and play with them.  I have been learning all the new rules and seem to be doing well with potty training and leash walking but still like to use my mouth to play with my humans like I did with my brother and sister.  Not being mouthy is a little harder to learn.  I get along well with other dogs, big or small, young or old, even if they don’t like me but most of all I love my humans.  I have never met a stranger and want to be around someone all the time.  I don’t like to be alone too much but am not too vocal about it.  I follow the nearest person around wherever they go.  I am being fostered in Northern Virginia and will be attending adoption events there.  If you are an approved adopter and are interested in a puppy, you can contact my foster dad Jeff at jwdespain3@cox.net .
