7/22/19  Hi. My name is Chanel and I am a long and lean fast growing little girl.  We don’t know much about my early months as I was picked up as a stray with 2 of my siblings in DC.  Luckily though we were all in good shape.  I am now starting to settle into my new foster home.  I am told I am very sweet and affectionate but very inquisitive and adventurous.  I love toys and it is fun to sit and play with them but it is more fun to go running through the house pulling down towels and seeing what’s on the counters that I can grab.  I am good when we get to go on a walk but am having a problem remembering where I can and cannot pee. Oops.  I get along well with other dogs, big or small, young or old, even if they don’t like me but most of all I love my humans.  I have never met a stranger and want to be around someone all the time.  I don’t like to be alone too much but am not too vocal about it.  I follow the nearest person around wherever they go and love to jump up on them to give them some loving. Baby gates and other small room dividers will not keep me from my humans.  I am being fostered in Northern Virginia and may be attending adoption events there.
