Hi! My name is Athena and like a goddess beautiful is what I am and my foster Mom also agrees. Keeping me looking good does not take a lot of work and I am learning that being brushed feels good even though I do not hold still for long. When my foster Mom describes me she also says I’m full of energy and a puppy brain. I absolutely love to play tug-o-war with my foster Dad and ball with anything and anybody.  The three of us play all the time!   It takes a lot of play time but eventually I get so tired I fall asleep, usually on my foster Dad’s feet.   I know “sit” and i need work on a leash (we’re working on the walk thing). The thing I do best, though, is to come flying when somebody says my name.   I love my kennel and I climb right in and it’s lights-out for me.   I think it would be so awesome if my new home had a buddy or two for me to play with that has two legs and not 4; I like to have all the four legged attention. I like the big boys and as long as they have lots of energy to play it would be great!!  My dream home would have 2-legged playmates and a Mom or Dad who give me lots of attention and like to run and play outside.  I can stay home by myself, sometimes, but after a while I can get really bored all by myself and next thing you know I let my nerves get the better of me and I misbehave.   My foster Mom and Dad understand I don’t get so nervous while they’re gone if they put me in my bed.    If you think I might be “the one” you better put your application in quickly – somebody’s going to fall in love with me at first meeting and I’ll be gone in the twitch of one pretty little ear.
