Duke is a sweet boy once he gets to know you. He is a very personable dog and bonds to those caring for him. He loves to be with his people but he also does well in a crate once he settles down within a couple minutes. Duke seems to match your activity level. If you want to take him out he is excited to jump in the car and go but if you just want to hang out he is happy doing that too. 

A 6 foot fence is not necessarily required if you walk your dogs every time they go out but Duke does have a high pray drive so if left alone he may jump the fence. He knows basic commands but could still use some leash manors. 

He is currently on an antibiotic and an itch medication due to a skin infection. He has about a week left and will hopefully be good as new after! His itching has seemed to get better with each day passing.
