7/19/17  Gypsy was turned into the shelter because she has too much energy. Well of course she has energy, she's still a puppy! The vet thinks she's about 10 months old. She's a petite girl, only weighing 50 pounds. She is healthy and microchipped. Her coat is thick and all black with some beautiful reddish undertones. She's quickly learning that getting brushed feels nice. Gypsy is feisty and full of zest for life. She likes playing with other dogs and loves her toys. Since she hasn't had much training, she sometimes gets confused about what's a toy and what's off limits, but she's smart and is learning fast. She would do best with older kids as she's still learning not
to jump up on people and to not be mouthy. She's definitely a work in progress and a diamond in the rough. She loves to play chase so she would probably not do well with cats. Gypsy is house and crate trained and settles down nicely and sleeps all night in her crate. She will need an active family who is willing to put in some time with training and taking care of her exercise needs. Another active dog in the house would be great but isn't a requirement. She does need a fenced yard. Gypsy's main goals in life are to play and be loved on. She's such a sweet girl and she tries so hard to be good. She needs a forever family willing to put in the time and effort to teach her. She will be spayed on July 28th and will available for adoption soon after.
