I know you have heard of the loyalty, love, companionship, and the little mischievous ways of German Sheperds.  Well, meet Smokey, or as we call him Smokey Bones.  Even though this boy is not quite ready for adoption, we wanted to introduce him to everyone, because yes he is THAT special. He is 6 years young and full of spunk. Nothing keeps a good shepherd down. He currently healing from multiple skin and ear infections, as you can see in his pictures. Give him a minute and he will be fully healed and as a beautiful on the outside as his beautiful soul is on the inside. Look at that sparkle in his eye, and it tells you all.

He has only been with us a short period and we are learning more about him daily. He does wonderfully well on a leash. We barely know he is even in the car when driving, and oh yeah - he LOVES to play fetch!!! We are still learning to drop and leave the ball, but he is a fast study. He also has two favorite times of the day....Breakfast and Dinner. That's right. Don't forget to call him for either, and the occasional treat is fine with him, too!
