10/4/16 Bonnie Sue is a large young girl weighing in at 110 lbs. She could stand to lose about 10 lbs. We recently took her to an adoption event and she was a big hit. She is very good looking and very affectionate. At our last event, Bonnie Sue loved all the attention and gave kisses to everyone. She was very good with children of all sizes. She was good with all of the dogs at this event large and small. Bonnie Sue still has a lot of puppy exuberance in her. She will need socialization and basic obedience training. She is smart, bonds quickly and wants to please, so training should be fun. She rides well in a car, is not destructive in the house and is being taught how to play with other dogs by our 2 GSDs. Bonnie Sue does suffer from seizures, but is easily controlled by her medication Phenobarbital. She is house trained and sleeps in house at night. Bonnie Sue would be a good fit for a family as she is good with kids and other dogs, perhaps not with infants or toddlers. Given her size; obedience training is a must. This dog is very gentle but might knock over a small child by accident. Approved adopters, please contact foster.
