Meet Champ, a goofy and sweet boy who was on the euthanasia list at a shelter. After being neglect and later surrendered, Champ came to us in rough shape. At 68 pounds, his bones could be easily seen through his shaggy and molting black fur. So far he has gained 10lbs and is almost fully recovered from his neutering surgery. At home, he is a very loving boy and cannot get enough attention. Loves being around the family. I am unsure if he had formal training however he does well in his kennel and hasn’t had any accidents around the house. Champ knows some basic verbal commands, however, he has yet to learn boundaries. Champ has great leash manners if he has his gentle leader on. Champ loves to wrestle with his foster sibling Leo but needs to learn his boundaries while playing. Champ is a great companion for any family and will thrive in any household setting.
