Shylow is a very sweet little 60 pound dog, she is also known as ‘Little Girl”.  She will jump in your lap if you let her. She is probably all GSD, but we do not know for sure. She is definitely food driven, she was a stray for at least two months so she craves her munchies. She is undergoing heartworm treatment and will need to be spayed afterward (mid to late November 2016), other than that she is in good health and is a happy pup. She is a well behaved girl and gets along with her larger and older foster brother GSD Buddy. She is an active dog and needs an active home. She is not quite a Velcro dog but she wants to be near you and is interested in all activity you are engaged in. She does well in the yard and on leash for walks. She had been to the dog park many times before her HW treatment and did very well with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. She vocalizes appropriately, but can be a bit of a pest if she thinks she is overdue for her scheduled feeding. Right now she knows sit, down, recalls on ‘come’, is pretty good on a leash/prong collar. She could use training for the long term, but she is very intelligent and learns quickly. Overall she is a great little spirited dog, inquisitive and affectionate, eager to please, and will make a good personal and or family dog. She may do well as a sole dog in a family, but she does seem to like the company of other dogs too.
