Meet Audrey!  She is a very sweet, happy and energetic 4 year old girl.  Audrey currently lives with another GSD and there are no issues, so she should be fine in a house with a dog of her size if they are introduced properly.  She has shown some interest in the two resident cats, so a home without cats or small dogs would probably be ideal.  Audrey is great in a crate, sleeps through the night with no issues, will let you know when she needs to go out and doesn’t seem to have any separation anxiety.  She is not very vocal, only barking to let you know when there is something that you need to be aware of.  She loves to play and has a lot of energy!!  Tennis balls are her favorite and she will chase one for hours.  We think she needs to go a home that will commit to taking her for runs or hikes daily. Since she is very energetic and playful, we would recommend that her forever home have older, considerate children.  She might be too much for younger kids.   After playtime is over though, she does settle down quickly and will entertain herself with a toy.  She loves her people and bonds very quickly.  Audrey will follow you around wagging her tail and has the German shepherd lean down pat.  She knows basic commands, walks pretty good on a leash and rides well in the car.  Overall, she is a great dog with very few flaws.   Audrey is currently being fostered in the Virginia Beach area.

6-16-2016 Update:

Audrey has a completely clean bill of health and is UTD on all her shots.  She has started on HW and flea/tick prevention.
