6/6/16 Bryandt (we call him Bryan) is a four year old purebred GSD with the AKC paperwork to prove it.  He is a big boy (80 lbs) very friendly guy who needs to work on his leash manners.  He likes playing fetch at the dog park and is starting to figure out how to play with the other dogs there. 

He is a good boy in the house, not a single accident and he squats to pee so it is a refreshing change to have a male dog that does not feel the need to leave his mark upon every vertical surface in my home and yard.  Bryandt can be a little whiny in the car, but inside the house he is a snuggle-bug, super-sweet boy. 

Bryandt's previous owner said that he was destructive when left alone, but we have not seen that behavior here.  I think he might have a little separation anxiety, but I think if he had another dog in the house with him, it would be sufficient company for him to stay out of trouble.  

His previous owner said that he is good with dogs, cats and kids.  He lived with a toddler in his original home.  

Right now we are battling an ear infection - his ears looked like they had tar in them when we got him two weeks ago.  We had his ears deep cleaned and he is on antibiotics and ear medicine. When he first arrived he would not let us touch his ears.  Now he sits politely while we clean his ears and drop in the medication.
