Adopted!

Troy is a beautiful young male GSD who's had a tough time in his life, so he needs LOTS of love and attention. He was adopted out over a year ago but was left alone inside too long every day and developed a habit of chasing and biting his tail, so he was returned to us recently. In the past month, Troy's proven that he'd much rather play ball, go for walks or even just sit outside in the yard rather than chase his silly ol' tail. Troy gives kisses and loves to be scratched and doesn't get into anything he's not supposed to. Troy is a strong boy who can be stubborn sometimes, so he'll need an assertive, German Shepherd-experienced owner who is home most of the time so he doesn't get bored or lonely. At first, he'll try to dominate any dog but once he gets to know them he's happy to have someone to run around with. Troy is great with kids and his big alert bark would make anyone feel safe with him in their home! KBVA Adopted: 08/26/05.
