Titus is a gentle, one-year-old, male German Shepherd. He is quite shy, but very affectionate and endearing to any real dog lover. He is intelligent, playful, very eager to listen to your gentle corrections, and cuddly. He is in need of a lot of quiet reassurance, and nurturing attention. He is not a leader and not the least bit aggressive. He likes to try to sit in your lap and even gives me kisses when I tip his nails. He has not been cat tested yet, but he gets along with other dogs as he has no need to dominate. He greatly prefers women to men, and will not come up to someone whom he senses is not a true dog lover. He is basically house-trained but does not ask to go out yet. He does not like crates, probably because he is quite tall and long and likes to stretch out when he lies down. He was found as a stray and is on the thin side. He will be steadily gaining muscle and weight. He likes to leap for joy when praised for being house-trained, and runs when on walks, but all things considered, he is not an outdoor dog. He has not been taught not to chew, yet he must be watched all the time. If he is to be in a house with children, they must be taught to be extremely gentle with him.
