Tigger's a very calm boy, content to stay with you in whatever room you are in, and either sit near you or lie down somewhere in the room. He likes to keep you in his sight! He frequently will come over to us and put his head on our leg so we will pet him! Like I said, he is a LOVE BUG!! Very calm and well-behaved indoors and out. He's also very well-behaved in his crate and will just walk right in and sit down with no problems. We crate him only when we are leaving and other than that he has free roam of the house and has not had a single house-training accident yet. Despite his "stocky" appearance and couch potato demeanor inside, Tigger LOVES to go for walks and is well-behaved on a leash. He will walk and walk until WE get tired and go home! He could stand to lose a few pounds, so frequent walks would be a plus! In addition to loving his walks, he LOVES car rides and does very well in the car!! Overall, Tigger is a very sweet boy, once he is comfortable with you. He is a little on the shy side, but once he opens up to you, he is wonderful. He would make an excellent "first dog" for someone since he is so well-behaved. One odd thing I've noticed is that he will not play with any dog toys, whether that's a stuffed kong, squeaky toys, tennis balls, or other chew toys that we have. I don't think he was ever given a toy before, poor guy! So we're working with him on that! But really, he's most content just being a couch potato! Please visit him at adoption days.
