Shelby is a beautiful three year old purebred female German Shepherd. She is already spayed and up-to-date on all her shots. She was pulled from the Nelson County Animal Control Facility as an owner surrender. The story was she kept climbing the fence and the neighbors threatened to shoot her. The owner said she's good with children, cats and other dogs. She knows sit, down, in your house and several other commands. She was a tad skittish when we first met her, but it didn't take long for her to settle right in. She was good in the car and actually lay down after she got her bearings - of course she was right back up at every stop! Once we know a little bit more about this gorgeous girl we will send in an update. Shelby is being fostered in the central Shenandoah Valley.
