| Little Miss Shay must be one of the sweetest and most gentle dogs around! She was turned in to the SPCA with
her mate, both of which were covered in ticks and severely underweight. Unfortunately, her mate did not make it. Despite her
senior years, Shay still has a spring in her step (her prior owner claimed she was a show dog) and she is quite interested in all
that goes on around her. She is a little timid and shy, but is now starting to come out of her shell a bit. She's grateful for any
kindness, and while she loves to snuggle and be kissed on (a new experience for her I am sure!), she is also quite content to
watch the antics of my two younger GSDs from the sidelines. Shay is very gentle and submissive with her new foster brothers.
She loves to go for walks and will stay right by your side. Shay has lost some of her hearing, but I am working on teaching her
the hand commands. She is also gaining some much needed weight, and has gone from a mere 42 lbs. at the shelter to
approximately 54 lbs. now, and could probably gain another 10 lbs. This poor little baby has been through so much and
deserves to finally have a "forever" home. Won't you open you heart to this gentle soul? You could not ask for a more loving
and appreciative companion. RMVA
