Hi, my name is Shadow, and I am a very handsome 4-year-old German Shepherd. They tell me I was born around February of 2001, and I live in Richmond, VA. I'm mostly black in color with a little brown on my paws and some white under my legs. My weight ranges from 50 - 60 pounds depending on how much I eat and how much exercise I get. I have a very playful disposition. I love being around people and especially love children. They dump sand on my head and I just sit there and take it. I was found as a puppy walking along a country road and have spent the last 3 years in a very nice home with lots of love, just not enough room. I'm very lovable and require lots of room to exercise. I'm very full of energy and sometimes have issues with fence jumping and running. Everyone in my neighborhood knows me and loves me but my owner is very afraid that I'll be hit by a car and fears for my safety. My owner and I would love to find a family that has a farm or lots of room for me to run and be free. If you give me a home, I'll be the best dog I can for you and your family.
