Samson #8

Adoption Pending!

Hi, my name is Samson, but you can call me Sammy. I'm a GSD mix and I'm a very sweet boy, however I'm also still a little scared and timid. If you'd been through everything I've been through, you'd be timid too. You see, I lived for quite awhile on my own with no regular food, water or shelter. One day the people from the local pound came and picked me up and I ended up living there at the shelter for a while. It was nice having food and water, but it was still a scary place and I was starting to think that I would never have a chance at being a real pet. Just then, this nice lady with VGSR came and got me and took me to my new foster parents. My new foster parents are very nice. It's taken me a while but I've learned to trust them. When I came to live here, I was a very sick dog, but VGSR has taken care of me and made sure I received all the medicine and treatments that I needed to be healthy again. I don't like to fetch however I do love to chew on tennis balls! In fact, I'm really starting to enjoy this life of toys, dog beds and yummy treats. My foster parents tell me I'm a smart boy because I picked up on the house-training thing really quickly and I've learned to come when they call. Did I tell you my foster parents have a dog of their own? Although my foster parents are really nice, I am more attached to my canine friend and he helps me with my confidence. I'd be really happy if my new forever family had another dog for me to best friends with. If you think I sound like a sweet dog and a good fit for your family, please come meet me at a Northern Virginia adoption event. - HEVA
