Adopted!

Sadie is a 7-month-old, pure-bred German Shepherd. She has an unusual and beautiful coat that is black and silver. Sadie ended up at a rural West Virginia shelter. She doesn't appear to have been well cared for in her former life, but all that's about to change! Sadie has a great sense of humor and loves to play chase with both people and other dogs. She is very gentle and shy for her age, clearly bonding to other dogs faster than to people. Sadie is yet another "diamond in the rough", and I think she'd thrive with training, patience and praise. Once Sadie has a good grooming, she's going to be a knockout. Because Sadie is shy, she would do best in a home without small children or a lot of activity, but would love the company of another playful dog and going for walks and to dog parks. Sadie rides very well in a car too. Approved adopters are encouraged to e-mail barbie@shepherdrescue.org to make arrangements to meet Sadie.
