Adopted!

Reese is a 20-month-old, 70 lb. female, Dutch-colored Shepherd that was turned in to the Ann Arundel, MD, shelter by her previous owners who were no longer able to care for her. She is a typical 2-year-old GSD that if very playful and has lots of energy but is also very well behaved. Reese responds well to commands and is one of the best GSD's you will find around people. She knows sit, stay, come and always listens when you tell her what to do. She is great around people - really loves everyone - and was raised with four young children in the home. She is social and wonderful around other dogs but is not good around cats and should go to a cat-free home. She is fair on a leash and getting better ever day with her leash manners. She is house-trained and tolerates but doesn't love her crate. She was recently spayed and is up to date on all her shots. If you are looking for a sweet and people-friendly female GSD, Reese may be the girl for you. She will be attending Northern VA adoption days in the coming weeks.
